2004 Nepenthe Tryst Red

From the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, the Tryst Red is an eclectic blend, based on Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Zinfandel. This combination works remarkably well, resulting in a fruit driven wine which is approachable and fragrant. Easy drinking wine for dining outdoors.

Notes from Wine Spectator: "Supple, open-textured and appealing for its dark berry and pepper flavours, melding together on the harmonious finish."

We served this at a small barbeque with hamburgers, hot dogs, and orzo salad.
