2005 Tablas Creek Esprit de Beaucastel Blanc

This is the second white wine we served with appetizers at our Indian dinner.

Tablas Creek is located in Paso Robles on the Central Coast of California. The Esprit de Beaucastel Blanc 2005 is a blend of three estate-grown varietals (Rousanne, Grenache Blanc, and Picpoul Blanc), propagated from budwood cuttings from the Château de Beaucastel estate in France. It shows aromas of honeysuckle, mint, lemon peel and spice, with rich Roussanne flavors of honey, rose petals, pear, petrol and white flowers, excellent breadth, cleansing acidity and great length.
